The Torre Travertine Flush Ceiling Light
Model: KT1012-1
Torre means tower in Italian. The piece rises in stepped tiers: a narrow band of black travertine at the ceiling, a broad band of wood around the middle, and a wider cylinder of black stone below.
Unlit, the contrast of dark, pitted stone and smooth wood gives it an architectural presence. Switched on, light pours down through the open base and the pores inside the lower tier glow gold, while a soft line of light shows in the gap beneath the wood band. At 17cm across it has enough weight for a landing, an entrance hall or a dressing room.
The wood band comes in Walnut or Natural Oak, and it takes a single E27 bulb. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pores, tone and texture of every piece are unique.
