The Bilancia Alabaster Pendant Light
Model: KT1034-1
Bilancia is Italian for a balance, the old weighing scales. A single arch of metal drops from a slim rod, and at each end sits a sphere of alabaster, level with the other, like the two pans of a scale held in equilibrium.
Unlit, the spheres read as two soft, veined globes set against the clean line of the arch. Switched on, each sphere glows warm from within, with the veining drawn out in quiet relief. It suits a hallway, a landing or a bedside, and makes a graphic statement over a console or a small dining table.
It measures 57cm wide, with an arch 40cm tall on a 100cm rod, about 144cm overall. Shorter rods from 40 to 90cm are available on request. Each sphere is 10cm across and takes one G9 bulb. The metalwork comes in brass, bronze or black. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining, tone and translucency of every sphere are unique.
