The Lanternino Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT972-1
Lanternino means little lantern in Italian, the name also given to the small lantern that crowns a dome. A compact drum of travertine hangs from a slim arm finished with a wood detail, like a lantern held out from the wall.
The drum is opaque, so the stone frames the light rather than glowing through it, its curved outer face staying matte with pores and banding in view while the glow escapes from its open face. Its small scale suits a bedside, a reading corner or a narrow hallway, and a pair works beautifully either side of a bed or a doorway.
One size, Ø17 x 12.5cm, with the wood detail in Walnut or Natural Oak. It takes one GX53 bulb. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every piece are unique.
