The Notte Travertine Flush Ceiling Light

Notte is Italian for night, a nod to the deep black travertine it is cut from. A plain cylinder of dark stone sits beneath a wood cap, a simple, solid form close to the ceiling.

Unlit, the near black surface shows its open pores as small flecks of texture, and the wood adds a warm band above. Switched on, light falls cleanly downward and the inner rim of the stone glows gold against the dark exterior. At 12cm across and 10cm deep it works in rows along a hallway or corridor, or as quiet accent lighting over a console or kitchen worktop.

The wood cap comes in Walnut or Natural Oak, and it takes a single E27 bulb. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pores, tone and texture of every piece are unique.
