The Pilastro Alabaster Wall Light
Model: KT942-1
A pilaster is a column set flat against a wall, and Pilastro works the same way. A tall alabaster cylinder, 49cm high, is held on a brass bracket so the stone becomes a vertical feature in its own right.
An E27 bulb lights the cylinder from within. The glow is warm and soft, and the height of the stone gives the veining room to show, changing as it runs along the column.
Its proportions suit a generous wall: either side of a bed or fireplace, flanking a doorway, or spaced along a hallway or stairwell. In a room with high ceilings, a pair adds height and a sense of order. The metalwork comes in brass or bronze.
Alabaster is a natural stone. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece, so every column is unique.
