The Blocco Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT981-1
Blocco is Italian for block. A rectangular block of travertine, 6.5cm by 9.5cm in section, is mounted on a wood back, a solid and architectural form open at the top and base.
The light leaves the block at both ends, washing the wall above and below in two soft beams, while the stone itself stays matte with its pores and banding on show. Unlit, it is a simple, grounded pairing of stone and timber. Its clean geometry suits a hallway or stairwell, either side of a bed or a mirror, or flanking a doorway.
There are two heights, H16cm and H23cm, with the wood back in Walnut or Natural Oak. Each takes one GU10 or E27 bulb. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every piece are unique.
