The Disco Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT985-1
Disco is the Italian word for a disc, and for a record. A round travertine disc hangs from a slim brass stem and a small wall plate, so the stone appears to float in front of the wall rather than sit fixed against it.
Unlit, the disc shows the honey and cream banding and open pores of natural travertine, with a small wooden button at its centre. Switched on, the integrated LED brings a soft, warm light to the stone, picking out its rounded edge and textured face. With a metre of overall height, it adds a vertical line to a stairwell or landing, and a pair either side of a bed frees up the bedside tables.
It comes in one size, 30cm across and 100cm tall overall, sitting 9.5cm from the wall. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every disc are unique.
