The Mezza Alabaster Pendant Light

Mezza divides a sphere along its equator. A polished metal upper hemisphere sits over a lower half of alabaster, so the pendant is crisp and reflective above and softly luminous below. The meeting line between the two materials is clean and precise.
The metal top directs the light downward. Through the stone it turns warm and diffuse, with the veining revealed in the lower bowl, while the polished upper half catches reflections from the room. Three sizes, from Ø12cm to Ø23cm, suit a bedside, a row over an island or a single piece above a dining table.
The upper hemisphere and fittings come in brass, bronze, black or nickel. The lower half is natural alabaster, so veining, tone and translucency vary and each piece is unique.
