The Bolla Travertine Wall Light
Model: KT973-1
Bolla means bubble in Italian. A softly rounded plate of travertine holds a globe of opal glass at its centre, like a bubble resting against smooth stone.
The opal glass does the glowing. Switched on, the globe becomes an even, milky sphere of light and the travertine around it catches the warmth across its pale cream surface and open pores. Unlit, the pairing of matte stone and smooth white glass is quietly graphic. It is a natural choice beside a bed, along a hallway or landing, or above a console, and its compact size suits smaller rooms.
One size, 10 x 18cm, taking a single G9 bulb. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining, pores and tone of every piece are unique.
