The Seme Alabaster Pendant Light

Seme, Italian for seed, is a rounded pill of alabaster crossed at its middle by a slim metal band. The band splits the form into two halves and gives the soft shape a precise, tailored edge.
Switched on, the E14 bulb inside lights both halves, and the stone glows warm on either side of the band with its veining drawn out. The smaller size, 14 x 17.5cm, suits a bedside table or a hallway. The larger, 18 x 30cm, has the presence for a dining table or a kitchen island, hung alone or as a pair.
The band comes in brass, bronze or black. Each piece is hardwired by a qualified electrician. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining, tone and translucency of every piece are unique.
