The Gemella Alabaster Pendant Light

Gemella means twin. Two alabaster spheres are stacked on a single cable, the larger above and the smaller below, so the pendant reads as a gentle vertical rhythm rather than a single orb. The two spheres sit close, like beads on a thread.

Lit by a single G9 bulb, the pair glow in warm, graded tones, with the veining of each ball drawn out in the stone. Seen from below or from the side, the two tones read as one continuous line of light. The stacked form suits tall spaces: a stairwell, a double-height hall or a narrow landing. Two size pairings are offered, Ø12cm over Ø10cm, or Ø16cm over Ø12cm.

The metalwork comes in brass or bronze. Each sphere is natural alabaster, so veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.
